New ideas and improving on them

I thought this was an insightful article on provide criticism and improvements to other’s ideas.

I agree with how the execution of the idea is what is most important.  However, it’s usually that extra 5% that makes a good idea a great, original, and valuable idea.  People come up with good ideas all the time, just 5% short of being above the rest.  I think a good mix might be to provide insight and recommendations and then publicly give credit to in it’s entirety to the creator.
